Kamden Hilliard

Kamden Hilliard earned an MFA from The Iowa Writers' Workshop and a BA in American Studies from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. They have published three chapbooks: Distress Tolerance (Magic Helicopter Press, 2016), Perceived Distance from Impact (2017, Black Lawrence Press) and, henceforce: a travel poetic (Finalist for Omnidawn Books 2018 Chapbook Contest). Kam has received support from The Davidson Institute, Callaloo, The UCROSS Foundation, and The NFAA. Their reviews, essays, and poems can be found in The Black Warrior Review, West Branch, Bennington Review, Best Experimental American Poetry, and Prairie Schooner.
