Stacy Szymaszek










Stacy Szymaszek is the author of seven books of poetry, most recently The Pasolini Book (2022), and Famous Hermits (2023). Her most recent chapbook Three Novenas was published by auric books in 2022. Her eighth book, Essay, will be published by Krupskaya Books in 2025. She is the recipient of a 2014 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry, a 2019 Foundation for Contemporary Arts grant in poetry, and a 2024 MacDowell Fellowship. From 2007-2018 she was the Director of The Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church in NYC. She currently lives and works in the Hudson Valley.
